>Hi Tim. The grid is the nav control of the form. It's not the save that's giving me the problem. The save works fine. I have an import method that imports a text file with no issues. It's when you perform a search and then decide to add a new record and then decide to cancel that new record. Even when I delete all code and let the default behavior of the mm buttons do their thing it errors out on me.

Sounds like the issue then is with the cancel of new / and the existing binding of the search function. Does that sound correct? When you cancel the new record, is your search view still open and active? I can guess the function is they do a search and if the record they looked for does not exist they can add it. When you add it, you might want to consider not adding to the existing search entity list. If after adding you need to refresh the search to show the list again with the added record, you could do that.

Does this make sense? If not, you could post some of the relevant code to look for a way around this.
