>But frankly, I'm sitting this one out. I am much more concerned with Green Bay's chances of a perfect season. <s>
Despite Monday night's game against the lowly Vikings, their defense is way too iffy IMO for them to go unbeaten. They give up a lot of yards and points, particularly against the pass. We can't expect Aaron Rodgers to be perfect every week. And you can lose a game in any three hours during a four month season.
The season Rodgers is having is something to behold. Sure, we all knew after last season that he is among the elite. (Nice guy, too). The stats he is putting up this year are threatening all the key QB single season records. QB rating -- he is at around 129 and will have to turn into Rex Grossman to let that one slip away -- TDs, yards, completion percentage. He has godlike status in Wisconsin. That's saying something considering the guy before him also had godlike status and the Packers have always had it. I remember the consternation among the cheeseheads that the Pack used a high first round draft pick to take Rodgers. "Why we need a quarterback in the first round, Ole?"
Browns not doing so well. Of course, they are in a monster division. Pittsburgh and Baltimore, as always, and now the Bengals?! Who knew?
