>In SQL Server 2000, is it possible to tell autogrow to happen during a particular period of time (after normal office hours for example) rather then when ever it wants? I'm assuming it detects the need to grow, and just does it rather than detects and schedules.

AFAIK, no.And I think, this is normal.
What will happen if DB needs to grow, but the time is not what you want?
