I think it might. Look in the setup32.stf and search for any references to d: -- also, your new errors are a different type. The deletions you made have eliminated one type of problem. I've seen 44...errors once, but I can't recall how I resolved it. But these #s all refer to the setup32.stf file, open it and check it for a bad path...maybe take a look at wzsetup.ini, also...
