I think the best is to look back at last year's threads for all the related details. But, as far as I remember, yes, there was something about going for the rectangle first and then eliminating the offset results. I am not sure if this still applies to the current version I have. I just basically took what was recommended and found that it worked pretty good. As for the COS() and SIN() related issues, I believe there are some experts in there who might contribute with the exact meaning with their implementation in those SQLs.
