Here is a question, probably regarding the Event firing order again.

I have a datebox class that I want (as per my boss) to FORCE teh suer to type dd/mm/YYYY - no shortcuts or rollover dates. I wrote a nice Valid() Event - and it works great - UNTIL we use a DATE type ControlSource.

Having the ControlSource as a DATE type, it uses a rollover, or the current year if user doesn't type one. I need to PREVENT this - is there any way??

I guess it'd be because it converts the string to a date (substituting in a year if needed) before the Valid Event Fires.

how can I STOP this?

Anyone?

Thanks in advance

Tim

p.s. - have a great halloweekend
