>I don't know how does it work in every company. I know that in our company most of the people can always run queries directly in SSMS. For most of our clients we also have an easy access to SSMS (and I assume the users of these companies sometimes do as well). Finally, in our seminars we even have T-SQL classes offered.
But, allowing access into SSMS for regular users isn't it something that could be unsafe? I meant, those who use SSMS right now, in our end, are administrator and advanced users.
As for T-SQL, how does one get it installed?
