Dale,
It's not just a 'spaces in the path' problem. Instead of just trying to run the .exe try using the icon that the setup program creates. Here is the actual command line run when I click that icon:

M:\UTnav\utnav.exe -dM:\UTnav\VFP500.DLL

I had the same problem and never had spaces in the path of the sudirectory that UT Navigator was in. Michel suggested this fix and it worked immediately.
