I don't quite get it. How can a cursor created in the lookup form, which has a private datasession, instantly can be seen in the calling form, also with another private datasession? Wouldn't the cursor close after the user closes the lookup? Fabio, I believe, hit it right by saying it should be a table.

I am with Thomas on this one,
create a cursor in your lookup form - in the same datasession as your main form - and the cursor is available in your main form.

This should work. If not completely clear come back.
