>>Hi everybody,
>>
>>In my blog post I used the word 'triple' which as I understood is not a word. What I want to say is:
>>'I want to discuss a problem which often 'trips' newbies and even professionals'. In other words, the problem many people can make an easy mistake.
>>
>>I'm thinking of a word stumble or trip, but I am not sure this word 'trips' can be used in this context, e.g. the problem that trips.
>>Someone who pointed out my incorrect usage thought I should have used 'troubles'. I think I can use this word, but this is not exactly what I wanted to convey.
>>
>>What can you suggest?
>>
>>Thanks in advance.

>FYI Triple is a word - means threefold (as in double means twofold).

>As for a new word for stumble - how about "trip-up" or "slip up" ??
Thanks a lot, Victor. I've used 'trips up' as you suggested and my friend also just told me the same.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
