But I can't seem to be able to create a partnership between the Desktop and the Pocket PC via bluetooth. Anybody ever done that successfully? (maybe not even with the Mobile Device Center and Windows 7 but in general was able to sync a portable device like pocket pc over bluetooth connection)?

I tried something a little different. I found ActiveSync on the Pocket PC. I took the Pocket PC out of the cradle and it got disconnected from the Mobile Device Center. Then, on the Pocket PC, on the screen ActiveSync I clicked on Syncronize via Bluetooth. After some time I got this problem information:
Port Not Available. Cannot communicate with the PC because the port is not available. Another program may be using the port.

I wonder, what "port" is it talking about? Do you know?
