We had the good fortune to do a good bit of Fox work for Forbes during the early and mid 90's when Malcolm was still close to his peak form.
I never met him, but his gracious style was evident in the magazine and throughout the company.
Legend had it that he never left a restaurant without going back into the kitchen and introducing himself and liberally tipping everyone from the chef to the dishwasher.
Everyone I worked with at Forbes loved him.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
