Thanks, Mike.

I believe that Koen's criticism (such as it was) was about GoFish, not any of my work.

Koen and I have been having a separate discussion about the use of Thor and his dislike of the Thor menus. Funny thing, the reason for Thor is to allow you to configure your menus in the IDE the way you like them.

Any way, I am nowhere near as sensitive as I used to be. Can't please all the ppl all the time and all that rot.

Finally -- thanks for the reminder -- we turn over to 39 years a week from today, and no it won't slip my mind!

>I hope you took Koen's comments constructively. That's always hard to do when it's software you have poured a lot of yourself into, but constructive criticism really is useful.
>
>As an aside, I just googled Thor, since I knew next to nothing about it, and see you have been married for 38 years. Kudos!

It's not clear how why you think that is more complicated that CR --- but this is something that people differ on. I have great familiarity with both tools and have a hard time seeing why you perceive doing a simple search in GF to be harder. But, there it is.

>>>Jim,
>>>
>>>I am fully with you GF4 is much faster and has a much better replace method than CR, (I do remember once I have done a replace job in a rather big project, gosh wash I happy with my backup! CR jerked up teh code completely.)
>>>However the downside of GF4 is the, in my opinion, the UI, it is much more complex than CR for daily use just to lookup some property, method, or variable just one or 2 clicks and the searchitem, quick and dirty. For extensive searching, GF4 is a perfect tool which I would not want to miss, therefore my desire to place them both in my VFP menu nicely under Tools.
>>>So if the option Tamar has pointed out should work I could replace in the VFP menu CodeReference with GoFish4 and add the CodeReference.app to my Tools menu.

So I shall have to live with that however a changement of the default Code Reference to GoFish4.app would be a good idea. The best idea ofcourse would be to make a new entry on Tools menu GoFish4 and so benefit from borht Code Reference and GoFish4. Gofish4 is remarkably faster than Code Reference, however CR to my feeling has a more logical / natural UI tan GF4 so with less next choices.
