I find manuals useful for looking up stuff I already know about <s>. To actually learn it...there are a number of excellent authors and books available. You can search on www.whilhentzen.com (? I'll check this) and at amazon.com for vfp books.

You might also want to search here (if you can) for book reviews.

Actually, that was pretty specific *g*. In the txtbtns class there is a method called setallprop. That's where you could add code to check your new editmode property. Note, that the wizard class isn't going to suit all needs. If you use it as a basis for your command buttons, then it is likely you will need to make changes. MAKE A BACKUP OF IT FIRST, of course, if you do.
