I have recently purchased a new laptop with windows 7, my vista machine having died. I installed foxpro 9 sp2 without any problems and ran a few test builds and changes, all OK.
I normally use a modified version of the foxpro wizards so to save time(!) I copied them over from a backup. Now when I try to open a file to modify it, foxpro told me the file wizchsl.vct is missing or invalid and also it would not build the project .
I copied the same file to the work folder and put the class into the project. It now builds OK but still will not open the file as it is still looking in program files(x86) for the library and cannot open it.
I have tried adding security permissions for users and changing ownership without success.
I then uninstalled and reinstalled without overwriting the files but the problem persists!!

I have also created a new form using classes from the wizard directory and from the local copy of wizchsl which I can open ok

I can modify the class in the backup and it shows the class but copying the same class to the installed folder the class shows empty!!

Any ideas?

I have now tried to open the vcx as a table, any access of a memo field gives memo file c:\program files(x86)......wizchsl.vct is missing or invalid. Copying exactly the same files to another folder in c: I can open the vcx file and read the memos from the vct...
