If you go to Tools / Add-in manager is the MM Business layer generator present in the list? Is the checkbox checked for being available and at startup?

There is some information in the Dev Guide under installing MM that shows all the installation activity. You may want to verify these all occured for your installtion. Also, I know this has been asked here on this thread a few times, you may want to search to see if any of the previous answers has any other clues.
