I have a Profile class that is actually a subclass of the ProfileBase class which works cleanly with Web applications (websites do not need the translation). I don't remember where I got it originally but it may have been fro the same post. It allows me to read and write profile information for all users.

I haven't got to that section of the Silverlight project yet, but I'm guessing that as with most other things in Silverlight it won't be that easy to work with.. :(
