>Oh yeah. And performance is insane - much better than web forms. This is the way it should have been before (or at least an option). I can see web forms for developers clinging to GUI type components and such but that never appealed to me..

It seems pretty clean to me (the pattern itself has certainly stood the test of time) and it takes some of the grunt work away by use of naming conventions and the .NET solution type template. A question for you -- have you found yourself struggling in some areas when you get beyond the level of complexity of MVC Music Store and other tutorial apps?

I saw JVP's presentation on dependency injection in ASP.NET MVC 3 at a Microsoft sponsored one day event in Milwaukee this past spring, which is where I got the enthusiasm for it. It was excellent, very thought provoking. He wasn't in preacher mode but it really did seem elegant to me.

The funny thing about meeting John in person was he wasn't a wild man at all. He was confrontational in the FoxPro discussion groups, no question, and that is undoubtedly behind his enduring bad boy image. My experience face to face -- that time and at another event later in the spring -- is he is a regular guy in person. He left FoxPro a long time ago and didn't seem to hold any grudges. He said he is still in regular touch with some of the old luminaries, some of whom are still among us.

Razor is definitely a change-up, in baseball terms. I don't have enough expertise yet about this whole area to comment on its worthiness.
