It does. Besides, you don't want to use DELETED() in a SELECT-SQL because VFP gets confused with such functions. Should it be applied to the first or second table? And if you include the alias, VFP will apply DELETED() to the alias you have outside the SELECT-SQL and not on the table (opened again) by the SELECT command.

However when I tried to go back and search the archives on this I couldn't find the thread, so maybe I was just smokin. If I can trust that SQL will abide by SET DELETED ON then I don't need to worry I suppose.
