>Hi All, I'm in the market for an Android tablet and would like your views / suggestions as to which one to go for - my budget is up to £500 so I should have a chance of a good one - any ideas ?
I *personally* like the ease of handling of 7' devices. Acer A100 is guite good -
my main beef with it is no USB host functionality and only 5H battery runtime,
but it has Honeycomb and sports 1024/768 scrren with optional HDMI cable out.
Bad side: some sites need more handling to get screen size optimal for reading on
such small screens with eyes not fit for eagles any more <g>.
Froyo/Gingerbread only if you plan mostly simple reading and minimal editing via notes app -
[which is my main usage to be honest <g>]
but probably shortsighted if you plan to develop sometimes.
Huawei offers a 7' with even better screen resolution at similar price point.
Newest Samsung Galaxy Tablets not available over here, but guessing they are great.
As an outspoken apple sceptic I must confess that iPad still has some advantages -
if they port Siri to the iPad2 that might be adding something special not available on android for some time.
Go into a shop to decide on form factor early in your search.
