Thank you both for the feedback. I know implentation would get me there. But being relatively new to MM, I would not dive into it unless I have to.

My goal is to hear from people who have implemented these behavior in their application or have enough knowledge of MM to make these changes in MM without breaking the current functionalty.

For example: If I have to implement edit mode and instead of subclassing all my controls, I would like to create a general event handler that would look at the control and then decide what to do. For example change text box readonly, disable combos, leave labels/data grid as is.
