I am just converting a VFP 5 app to use VFP 6 and I find that I can no longer print the £ sign - I get an umlaut instead!

The code page being used is Windows ANSI ie CPCURRENT() returns 1252.

CURRENCY is set to '£'.

If I type ? "£" at the command prompt I get the umlaut.

In my TOOLS/OPTIONS dialogue I have set the currency to £ etc.

This problem also happens on my other computers. Can someone point me in the right direction please.
