I have tried a few different options to output a text file (or CSV) file form Excel (Office 97) , but having a problem with double quotes
Some of my data has a double quote at the end to signify an inch)
Each time I export, it puts a Doule Quote at the start and end of the text
e.g.
Pipe3" comes out as ->>> "Pipe3"" (An addiitonal Double Quote before the text and an additional Double quote at the end of the text
All I want is the single Double Quote (i.e. to export exactly the data without appending anything (other than a comma to separate the fields)
I have tried Csv, Txt, Tab Delimited but in all cases Excel is outputting the additional DoubleQuotes
