>I would say that the MCSE offers more opportunities. You have to have a network before you can really start developing applications so there will always be more of a demand for that kind of thing. Really, though, both offer quite a bit of opportunity. It's really a matter of what you want to do. Are you more interested in installing and managing networks, mail servers, etc. or is developing applications what interests you? Go with what you like and what you're good at. That's probably what will pay off best for you career-wise in the long run anyway.
