>Can't download and install software on my machine, it is
incredibly frowned upon and it can take upwards of 2 years to get approval for IT to do it.
In that kind of situation (I've been in it primarily whe consulting for railroads), I simply tell their IT people what is needed, where it is needed, and where to get it and let them figure it out.
They want to lock down their network so only they have rights. OK. Play their game.

>>>Anyone have something that can be fired off remotely that can register the VFP runtime dlls? I've got to get 100+ machines set up as quickly as possible. And please don't tell me to download InstallShield. Can't. Yeah, I know - I can create a script to run, but I can't download software, and it's been so long since I wrote a VB script, well let's just say it would probably be faster to register each machine individually - hence this request.

>>Take a look at PSExec - it's meant for that kind of thing. Of course, it requires you to have an account that is allowed to access those 100+ machines.
