>I use 2X to allow customers to run my applications from my servers hosted in a data centre. It is more cost effective than other solutions like Citrix or Go-Global. It is indeed the easiest way to make your application available to any platform because 2X has a client for a number of operating systems.

I played with 2 or 3 RDP solutions for android but was never really happy - 2x was not amongst them.
Any issues mentioned from your customers ? How did you find them - and did you test any others ?

>I do not as a rule sell software to anyone any more. I simply install it on my servers and charge a monthly fee. I currently have people using my VFP apps from MACs, iPhones, iPads, Android tablets and regular Windows terminals.

How well was that received with clients IT ? Data exchange with client IT ? Standard Im/export or special client structure ?

>I am also developing an alternate framework in QooxDoo for those requiring a purely browser based solution where nothing needs to be installed on the local workstation.

This is/was very high on my list of best pure Web fwks:
Web2Py for python, QooxDoo for JS, Wavemaker and JRapid for java.
Solid choice, if such a thing exists in this fluent area ;-)
