One of my customer uses 50 connections (My Foxpro dos appl.) with just one server. It at my customer's building. It runs good with just a 2K WDSL connection at center and ADSL at points. They never needed a highband connection.

I am not sure that one server would support 50-100 simultaneous connections. I have only ever had 15-20 simultaneous connections so you would need to ask someone who has experience with more simultaneous users than I have.

>>>It is not that hard to do at least in Canada because I can rent an entire server for as low as $200 per month and it can support quite a number of users so it becomes a profitable way to do business.
>>>
>>>I currently do not keep everything in one database. Each customer has their own folder and database.

It is indeed the easiest way to make your application available to any platform because 2X has a client for a number of operating systems. I do not as a rule sell software to anyone any more. I simply install it on my servers and charge a monthly fee. I currently have people using my VFP apps from MACs, iPhones, iPads, Android tablets and regular Windows terminals.
