Hmmmmm, I thought all of that was fixed sometime ago. Maybe not (maybe old doc's - the bain of open source - doc's). I recently was working with ODBC to access MsSQL. I can provide the file if you want but I have not patched all of the IDE stuff to support it.

That said, the reason the problem occurred with pymssql.py was the author did not provide a standard interface (or at least what I think is the standard). Ed Leafe decided that it was most popular download for Ms-SQL and just patched it. I used it for a while several years ago. But recently I had to convert a large MsSQL database and decided to use pyODBC instead. Mostly, because others from the Dabo Community wanted a ODBC solution. I haven't finished but it works well with MsSQL (have to hard code the connection string for the moment).

But I'll check into the issue and get back with you!

One of the nice things about Dabo is the source code is right there and if something needs fixing it is fairly easy to do.
