The other idea is to recompile in VFP without converting screens etc.
You have to do any work on screen layouts in fpw2.6 and let it generate the spr files.
Then you need to HIDE the scx files so that VFP does not try to convert them.

It will be a lot of work to make sure you have all the settings correct, and the whole program tested.
