>>>I heard one of the funniest lines ever on one of the funniest shows ever. On the BBC, a show called QI (Quite Interesting), hosted by Stephen Fry. I imagine you've seen the show.
>>>
>>>Well, Fry is gay and it usually comes up in the show in some crack delivered by one of the panelists (all comedians pretty much). On one show in which Sandy Toksvig was a panelist (she is also gay), they were talking about the space program and Neil Armstrong and the rest. So, Stephen Fry comes out with,"They can get a man on the moon, but not on Sandy Toksvig."
>>>
>>>I just about fell off my chair lauging. I do that a lot watching that show. I watch it on youtube since the BBC doesn't seem to want to sell it outside of the UK. They haven't issued any DVDs on format 1 and I don't have an 'all format' player.
>>
>>my son is a big fan. Its not something I watch much, there's too many of these celebrity panel shows for my taste.
>
>I know. They're all over Youtube, but none of them begin to compare to QI. Stephen Fry is an incredible talent and one of the quickest wits I've ever heard.
>
>>I'm surprised you can't get it. I thought they tried to leverage every bit of revenue out of these things
>
>Me too, but they haven't so far. In fact, most of the stuff out of the BBC seems to be priced specifically so nobody will buy it. The first season of "Torchwood" is $73.00 Cdn in the stores. I don't even want to know the price for the complete series.
>
>Fortunately I was able to buy both the complete "A Bit of Fry and Laurie" and the complete "Jeeves and Wooster" on points I get by using my bank debit card for purchases.

If you get a chance catch "Being Human" (about a vampire, a ghost and a werewolf sharing a house in Bristol
and Misfits. (ASBO youths doing community service who get superpowers)

At first watching Misfits you might well think WTF but stick with it .I think its excellent.

BTW as far as I'm concerned the last series of Torchwood definitely "jumped the shark"
