Gestionnaire de rapports & Rapports
John--
Absolutely right about the tables. Detail lines output by the report make up the rows in the resulting Word table. This is very confusing for users when they bring up the document for editing in Word. In addition, information in a report's page header and footer is stored in the Word file's page header and footer sections. The information stored is that of the first page; if it changes on subsequent pages of the report, the resulting Word document does not reflect the changes.
Despite these rather serious limitations, I rely on Foxword because I have found no alternative. Would you mind expounding on the automation server approach?
Thanks.

>As I recall, one of the limitations is that it created tables in word. Also, I don't think FoxWord is supported all that well. I say this because I know of a few client installs.
