Hi.
We have a got an app running on Windows 7 PC's attached to a SBS 2008 server. Any of the PC that have Trend Anti Virus software loaded, we notice the following:
1. First time during the day that the VFP (Ver 8) is launched, there can be a delay of about 5 to 10 minutes when it just seems to be sitting there. It eventaully comes up and runs normally

2. if you exit out of the Exe, and go back in, all is fine, it launcehse immediately

3. If you reboot the pc or logout, sometimes , on some pc's it comes up straight away, and on others it again waits for about 5 to 10 minutes
4. Have set up Trend to exclude the compltere folder that the Vfp Exe rsides on .... has made no difference
5 Also disabled a thing called PreFetch and Superfetch...made no difference.
6. For any pc where Trand is set not to run , there's no problem
7. Problem only started to happen when the Windows 7 pc were installed

Has anybody experienced anything like this.. any known problems with TREND and any workarounds.
Not an option at this stage to change to a different Anti-virus as they have paid up subscriptions
