But my neighbor's dog regularly did it on the postman's path, just two feet away from our window. I just wished he'd step into it before walking to their door. Once I caught them in flagranti, I let my voice go as loud as PO'd I felt. And the girl immediately went for a bag and picked it up.

But as far as retaliation goes, I just wanted to post a "if your dog poops here, you'll both be on youtube - camera is on". They don't need to know it's just a lo-rez webcam, and it can't actually get any recognizable picture.

One more reason why I prefer cats. They cover their poop, and take extra care to do it away from the path.
