It might be worth taking a look at Doug Hennig's white paper about running VFP apps on Vista (and Windows 7):
http://www.stonefield.com/pub/vista.zipAnother thing you could try is Compatibility Mode in Windows 7, which is designed to help run programs that worked properly in earlier versions of Windows. Right-click on the executable in Windows Explorer, click on Properties, go to the Compatibility tab, and check the checkbox to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:". Default is XP SP3, but don't be afraid to try Windows 2000 either.
Windows 7 also offers a compatibility troubleshooter: right-click on the executable in Windows Explorer, then click on "Troubleshoot compatibility".
