I think that's a serious matter. Is Obama a real lefty or, like my late father a "damaged righty." You can tell the difference in that a damaged righty will curve their hand around while writing. Damaged righties have language function in the left hemisphere, just like regular righties. Natural lefties have their language function in the right hemisphere. So, when my father had the typical middle ascending artery stroke, in his right hemisphere, it left him unable to write well, but still able to speak.

Now, if Obama is a damaged righty, I think that could give us a clue to his being a centrist, as he is caught between two worlds.

OTOH (wasn't aware that Muslim culture still has the lefty = devil association), I guess that takes care of the right-wing-crazies' assertion that Obama is a Muslim Terrorist. I can see the campaign ad now: "I've known that Obama kid for 40 years, and I tell you he's left-handed: he can't be a Muslim Terrorist!"
