Let's not foget 5th NF too, lol.

The sophistication is in the use of multiple databases with one being the access point holding only views (80-100). The views update and access the tables in the other databases through stored procedures. The views in the access point database are accessed from VFP using another whole abstraction layer that was developed by Andy Kramek.
