Yes. A tablet is not a desktop or a laptop. To me this was a really strange design decision.

It was quite a while before I upgraded to Vista and quite a while with Windows 7. Back in the old days OS upgrades were an automatic. For quite a while, starting with the MS-DOS versions, running out and buying the new version on the release date was automatic. No more.
