Ah, not the case. The worry passed within an hour, but the experiment took its course on its own merits.

Left handed writing was very useful at the blackboard. I could always write without turning my back at the class. And my shuffling the chalk from hand to hand was a minor miracle for the class(es :), so I got some extra attention (for free, i.e. I didn't have to pay for it... or was it them who were supposed to pay me for the attention? ... dang, some days the English phrases just drain the sense out of me).
