Wow, I heard it was cool, didn't know that.

I don't know if I'll be getting back there (but would love to: Vancouver is a wonderful city with friendly people), and will definitely go to have a beer -- travelling by RT for sure.

Cars are dangerous. :) I was in Maryland on business, and my boss was parking the SUV rented by the travel agent (we needed an SUV like we needed Scuba gear). He accelerated backwards very fast. Only problem was: I was walking down the street behind the SUV looking for a parking space to guide him into. Fortunately, and I don't know how or why, I leaned back into the SUV's flat back and was carried along. Then he suddenly stopped. I went flying off. Most fortunately, I wear Skecher (sp?) Shape Ups, with the thick rounded soles, due to an ankle problem. I landed on the back "heel" (there isn't one: it's all a semi-circle, sort of), the shoes rolled me forward, I took a couple of steps walking away, and was fine. Lost my glasses while in motion, but they were found, and we then went to dinner.

Where there's RT, I'll take it, thank you.

>I understand we have the longest automated rapid transit system in the world. Next time around let me know and we can go out for a beer, using transit of course, you do not want to be in the car with me driving, specially after having some beer! :)
