I only went as far as to practice lifting small objects with my toes, but that's not part of any preparations, I just prefer not to bend if I don't have to :). And also, turning off the light with my nose, and opening the door with my elbow when my hands are full. Don't try the latter in the US/UK and other countries with doorknobs.
