I am not sure what your question is, Is your question: can I reliably run an VFP5 built exe on a Win7-64 OS pc? I would answer: negative.
If your question is why my VFP5 built exe runs on a Win7-64 I would answer: dont know why. If you ask me should I I would again say no, but no objection to try, why not and please dont come back why it does not work?

If it is a small application it would cost you a few bucks to have it rebuilt in VFP9 if you cannot / have not the time to do so.
If it is a major application handling sensitive data I would say you are doing wrongly to use it like that.
