>I am surprised that the email protocol (SMTP/POP) has gone for so long as it is the less secure protocol on the Internet, or not at all. lol But, as there are also so many restrictions in regards to security that it is becoming more and more difficult to make sure that our email will reach its destination.

A few months ago, GoDaddy.com upgraded their email system. One of new feature is a super-duper spam filter. By default, it was turned on for me. One day my boss approach me and ask why I have not been replying to their email. I told them that I have not received anything in weeks. After a bit of investigating, I discovered among the dozen of advertisements from GoDaddy (never read), that there was a short announcement of the spam filter enhancement. Something in the emails from my boss was flagging the message as spam. The spam email would be stopped at GoDaddy, and I never got it, not even in my spam folder. Turn the new feature off and now I get their email (and a lot of others too.)

I am so glad that other are looking out after me.
