How about we be a little fairer and remember what he's had to work with? A Republican Congress that has learned they don't have to compromise on anything. After all, it will all be blamed on the current president and since he's a Democrat that's ok?

Look, I don't care how idealistic a candidate is, once he hits Washington there's going to be a certain amount of 'grey' that comes into play. It's the nature of the politcal beast. Jimmy Carter (bless his heart) tried not playing the game and history has recorded how that worked out. But if the 'other' side will not meet you even one step into the playing field it's kind of difficult to get anything done.

I'll just be happy when the Republican party remembers what it used to be and regains its sanity. Maybe then I'll have a place in my party again.
