I have not been able to discover any erroring on the network. Is there anything esle I can look for to help resolve the speed issue?

>4GB is 4,000MB, so the least possible time your transfer will take is 4,000/12.5 = 320 seconds, about 5 1/2 minutes. In practice you'd be very lucky to see 10 megabytes/sec transfer rate, that would yield 400 seconds, close to 7 minutes. If the 4GB is made up of a lot of small files, and/or there is significant other network traffic, you might find you're getting only half the theoretical data transfer rate, so your 4GB transfer could take more than 10 minutes.

It is tell me it will take approx. 6 hours.
I had to copy the files to a flash drive, and walk it over to server and copy them. (20 minutes)

Thanks for the suggestion. But I have no control over the hardware here.
