Yep. And as of a few minutes after that I discovered this:
http://androidcommunity.com/google-ends-full-support-for-cdma-devices-including-verizons-galaxy-nexus-20120203/...which is beyond annoying. I swear I'm soooo sick of the cell phone service providers in the USA doing stupid crap - locking down the phones, disabling features, creating contracts that say they can do whatever they want whenever they want. My Verizon Bionic shipped with Android 2.3.4 and Verizon stripped the SIP stack out of it so you can't use the native VOIP built into it. The carriers disable teathering - heck I've even seen Sprint disable bluetooth on phones before. Plus my Bionic has a built in FM radio - which was also disabled when I got it - and T-Mobile did the same thing to my LG G2X. At least I was able to get the FM to work on my Bionic, but no dice on the G2X - T-Mobile disconnected the hardware! As for the lack of VOIP I haven't been able to figure that out yet & now it looks like I may be screwed on ever figuring it out now. What a bunch of a-holes.
