I have no doubt that I'd have enjoyed Aeronautical Engineering as a career, but OTOH the way the government and the economy combine to periodically smash the industry I likely would have had to find another career anyway.

I can still kick myself for not finishing the degree - 2 more terms till graduation and I took my required FORTRAN course....

"Hey this is COOL! - I'm gonna switch my major!"
