>For many of you, this 9 minute video on YouTube will bring back memories if you used FoxPro for DOS. It's from Fox Software marketing of FoxPro 1.0 for DOS, either 1989 or 1990. Hard to believe this was over 2 decades ago.

Thanks for posting. It's cool to see Tom Rettig on the video. That guy should still be with us.

I sure remember my excitement about FP 2.0. I was working for a mainframe software company, pretty well placed, and it excited me enough to try to convince them enough to sell a PC version of our million dollar mainframe product for 25K. They said you're nuts. I left and learned FP by writing a knockoff of the mainframe package. I understood nothing about marketing and didn't sell one, but it did take me into the new market. I don't regret a thing.
