>>What tiny fraction of those Windows PCs are running anything written in VFP? Why do you think it's such a tiny fraction?

We all know why. Some here also know why I choose to spend a lot of time in a nation with only 4 million people. By your logic, international comparisons putting NZ cities consistently in the top 5 are clearly wrong and the best country in the world obviously must be China.

>>Huh? Are you saying VFP is making a comeback? Are you saying .NET is dead? What is your point?

My point is that if MS is determined to erode its own relevance, people who thought it was smart to obey MS instructions and guffaw at VFP'ers are about to be hoist with their own petard.

>.NET can be used to write apps for WP7. ASP.Net works pretty nicely in iPhone and iPad browsers (and pretty much every other browser on the planet). Tools are available to allow Visual Studio users to write apps for iOS, Android, Symbian, ...

LOL. OK, then.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
