I am getting a creepy feeling that it was not an accidental OD, or an intentional one, but a homicide. There's just something off about it. Who called 911? to name one question.

The cops always start the same place in investigating an unexpected death. They look at the spouse or partner first 99 times out of 100 -- make that 100 times out of 100 -- if the deceased is female. And they look for someone who had something to gain or something to lose.

We may not know for a while what really happened. You may recall that when Michael Jackson died it was nearly three months before there was an official coroner's verdict. This makes me wonder why the LAPD and LA County Sheriff's Department declared this as "no foul play" within a matter of hours after her body was found. No witnesses, no note. Despite her many well chronicled struggles with drugs, she is reported to have been "upbeat" at a social duet just two days earlier. Something seems off.
