Check http://www.emoreau.com/Entries/Articles/2004/08/Interfacing-the-Windows-Task-Scheduler.aspx. It is also outdated but the scheduler didn't changed that much over years. Be sure to also look at the comments at the bottom as there are a couple of other links.
